Benchmark Assessment

       The benchmark is a 65 question assessment tool that is aligned to our standards and will be given after we complete each Unit. This will provide ongoing assessment so that we can identify strong and weak areas for your student in Physical Science.  Students analyze their results and compare to the last time they took the benchmark assessment to determine where they have improved and what they need to work on most.   Please ask your student about their strengths and weaknesses and about where and how they were able to show growth.  Please encourage them to strive to improve each time they take this assessment.  Thank you for your support.

Physical Science

What Are We Up To?

     We have begun working on group presentations.  We are currently doing the research we need to develop our presentations.  On 4/30/18 we will begin working on developing and putting together those presentations and demonstrations.  While this is a group project each student will receive an individual grade.  Each student will be responsible for his or her own work within the frame work of the project.  Presentation schedule is as follows.
