Benchmark Assessment

The benchmark is a 65 question assessment tool that is aligned to our standards and will be given after we complete each Unit. This will provide ongoing assessment so that we can identify strong and weak areas for your student in Physical Science.  Students analyze their results and compare to the last time they took the benchmark assessment to determine where they have improved and what they need to work on most.   Please ask your student about their strengths and weaknesses and about where and how they were able to show growth.  Please encourage them to strive to improve each time they take this assessment.  Thank you for your support.

What Are We Up To?

We have hit the ground running to start the 2nd Semester.  We are working on the forms and transformations of energy.  We will have a test over this material on Tuesday January 23rd.  From there we will begin to study heat transfer before moving on to the forms and transformations of energy.
