The Averitt Center for the Arts has a new outreach initiative, Arts for All, designed to help make arts participation more affordable to members of the community. The three-tiered program hopes to assist the financial needs of families interested in attending classes, camps, and workshops at the Averitt Center.
Each year, the Averitt Center for the Arts offers an array of arts education programs in the visual arts, theatre, dance, chorale, music, strings, and literary arts. Classes are age appropriate for youth ages 3-18. Scholarships may also be available to the Center’s afterschool arts program, Art Adventures@the Averitt, on a limited basis.
Parents of youth interested in art programs at the Averitt Center can visit averittcenterforthearts.org for more information. If parents wish to enroll their child in a class through the Scholarship Fund program, please contact Averitt Center Program Director Tony Phillips at 912-212-2728 (ext.103), or email tphillips@averittcenterforthearts.org.
